My wife and I went there hoping for some good barbeque, going by some of the reviews. It's in a little non-descript building, one you'd expect to see in a small town; that in itself was kind of nice, actually, if you're looking for a small-town flavor. Inside was nice, with the walls covered in old license plates from all over the place -- I found it interesting to see where they were from and which one was the oldest (yes, I'm easily entertained). When we walked in, a blonde waitress seemed a bit bothered by our being there -- not very friendly -- but the other waitress, the one who ended up serving us, was nice and friendly and smiley. Anyway, my wife ordered the sliced brisket sandwich with fries, and I ordered the three meat combination plate, with chipped brisket, polish sausage, and sliced pork. She found her sandwich a bit bland and the fries, although they looked good to her, seemed to her as though they weren't cooked enough. I'll say this: the sandwich itself was pretty big, with lots of meat and lots of fries. My plate came with cole slaw, beans, a pickle and fries. A lot of food at a reasonable price. The problem: I was hoping to be blown away, but I wasn't. The chipped brisket was marinated in what seemed to be a weak barbeque sauce. I don't think I've ever described a food as "watered down" until now. I should've taken the blonde waitress' recommendation (she sort of warmed up after a little while)for the sliced brisket; although my wife found it bland, I found it better than the chipped brisket. The sliced pork was pretty bland, and the polish sausage seemed like a glorified wiener, complete with the saltiness. The beans were tasteless, and the cole slaw, although I like sweet cole slaw, was TOO sweet. Arroz con leche came to mind. I liked the fries the most, but yes, they seemed just a bit undercooked. I did finish the whole plate, as I was hungry! Our server was friendly, so it made the visit a bit nicer. All in all, not a bad place, I just think the food needs a little spicing up. I don't think I'd end up going there again.

This is NOT real BBQ! Literally lunch meat, on a burger bun, with Bullseye sauce on it. Lame! We saw a smoker in the back when we parked and thought we'd found a diamond in the rough -- yeah that thing must be for show because it's obviously not used. The fries were not bad and the service was good (the only reasons for 2 stars!). Maybe the rest of their menu is good, but probably wouldn't go again if I was passing through T or C.

Such a nice find in T&C. We came here through the suggestion of someone we encountered on our travels. It's reasonably priced--especially for us California folks. Our entire meal came out to $24 including tip for two people. I can't argue with that. I had huevos rancheros, biscuit and gravy and coffee. My mom had french toast with bacon and hot chocolate. Everything was tasty, and the service was really good. Everyone there made you feel like family. I'd definitely return.

Probably one of the better place to eat in T or C for lunch. Food We ordered posole, BLT sandwich, and green chili burger Posole - It was the soup of the day. It was luke warm and over salted. BLT - too much salty bacon and not too much lettuce and tomato. Green chili burger - came in toasted sliced bread not burger buns. The burger tasted good. Service - good Price - reasonable

I have gone the last two times I was in T. or C. They are amazing. I don't know how they can put out such high quality meals and portions for what they charge. Good Service, Great food and Terrific value. You have to love them.

Absolutely delicious home fried potatoes! My cheese omelette was perfect. Coffee was weak. Pancake was average. My husband would order the huevos rancheros again. The service is very friendly and we will be back!

We love BBQ On Broadway! Our favorite is the breakfast burrito. We never get anything else. As a vegetarian, they are always very accomodating and will make a veggie one for me, smothered with green and red and a side of delicious potatoes. Portions are also very generous, you might want to share one of these! The prices are very reasonable, and the service really depends on how busy it is. Unfortunately, this place is not open on Sunday mornings, or I would go more often. French Toast is also great! We regularly take our out-of-town guests here, last time a group of 9 came to about $8.50 per person, including a 15% tip. A definite must when travelling through town!!

Prob one of the worst BBQ experiences ever. I ordered 3 meats, "Polish" sausage aka hot dog, sliced turkey aka turkey lunch meat and sliced brisket aka lunch meat. Sliced entirely too thin, watery and had a reheated meat taste. I know BBQ is not made to order but it shouldn't taste reheated. Chicken fried steak was bland too. Fries were great! I ate them all and my pickle because everything else was a let down. Nice staff, affordable.

We had the brisket (tasteless) and fries (soggy) and beans (bland) and cole slaw (meh). Prompt device. Reasonable prices. But I have no intention of repeating the experience.

I was gonna give it 3 stars, but the prices were very reasonable so I bumped it to four. License plates from all over the place adorn the walls, and I really liked the step-back-in-time ambiance. Food is good and you know it's a locals kinda place. After stopping at other local eateries (but bailing out due to terrible service, etc.), we made a good choice, I think.

I'd give it a 3 1/2 stars. The chipped brisket and Polish sausage were amazing. They make their own fries there with the skin on. Love that. They also make their own pies. Peach is good. The turkey and the beans are nothing to write home about. I will come back. Need to try their ribs.
